Some Kind Of Lover

I barely even know her, yet she’s set my heart alight

we might be worlds apart, yet she’s got me in her grip

as natural as rain

as natural

as sin

she blinks and blows smoke

into thin grey sky

natural like a woman

seductive and sensual without even trying

in just a glance she reduced me to a mess

wet leaves beneath our feet

poetry in the cigarette she held between slender fingers

she had me in an instant

she made we want her, just by breathing

something in her chemistry

a spark

that drew me in

something in her style

something wonderful and obscure

  1. I try not to read you at work, but I just cannot help myself. The distraction is more than gratifying, it’s needed.
    Thank you.

    1. To know I distracted you makes me feel good. To know my words make you feel something is more than enough. I’ll try and keep it up

      1. Please do. I look forward to you.

      2. I’ll keep myself on edge just for you

      3. Wow, that statement was packed full of good stuff. You’ve inspired me…like you have many times before.

      4. If I can keep you on edge, than I’ll have done a good job. And to have inspired you will be the cherry on top of the cake x

      5. We could go on like this all night. You’ve put my mind in about 10 different places, most of them near or in the gutter. ..but I’ll remain respectful and simply say, thank you.
