I have never compared war/battle with lover’s having an intense sexual experience. The similarities make it crazy erotic.
It’s an interesting concept, isn’t it? Suddenly, the act of sex takes on this new twist. All that power, and the need to ‘inflict’ on the other person. Not in an unpleasant, or non-consensual way, of course. It’s a dance between two lovers, and how far they can push each other.
That is the beauty of it, using words like ‘inflict’ or ‘battle, fight’ all in an erotic way and not connoting violence. I love it.
