All those tiny memories. Those fleeting pieces of a puzzle we gave up on long ago. We are prisoners to our feelings, and it’s something quite beautiful and something quite sad. Time gets behind us, and stretches further than we dare imagine, yet it’s never there when you need it most. So many plans and fantasies that work better in our heads than in this dull reality we call living. Kisses on the mouth and words written in haste taste best, yet everything in between pales in comparison. So many things we put off. So many truths that need exorcising, yet we just take photos of ourselves in the hope of being saved the easier way. Captured images instead of captured hearts. That’s how it works nowadays.
