YouTube: The Graft/Be Difficult/Two Readings

Made a video. There’s talk about what it means to keep going when it seems like a fruitless endeavour, Albert Camus, stuff, and two readings of pieces taken from the second volume of A Journal for Damned Lovers. The pieces in question are The Destructors, and She Glows.

  1. I enjoy your ramblings.

This vlog (strange word, vlog…init?) has inspired me to write, which I’m sure will please you. It was the start. “I’m digressing already” that made me laugh out loud, because it’s something that I do every day. I digress until I don’t know what I meant to say in the first place.

    Like now…fuckit!? X

    (Thank you, in advance).

    • I don’t like the word either. Every time I use it, it feels like I’m trying to be cool.

You’re right, of course. It pleases me immensely 🙂 I hope you came up with something interesting!

And yeah, I secretly love digressing. It’s a bad habit I’ll never attempt to get rid of x

      • Cool dude, Stephen! I have 3 not-kids (18, 21 & 23) and sometimes feel ancient next to them, attempting to ‘get down with the kids’. I gave them life though, and they’re respectful of me – finally. I don’t text with one finger like MY mum does. I have a BLOG and none of them have that – but every time I speak about my blog to them, I cringe a little. What’s that all about? Hahaha. (Rhetorical…that’s already been answered).

I think I may become a rapper soon, just for shits and giggles.

“Nobody says shits and giggles anymore mum! Jeeez”.

      • Y’know, I don’t text with one finger, but I write with two. It’s very childish of me, but who cares. I heard Tolkien wrote LOTR that way, so it can’t be that bad.

I think you’re doing a great job of being cool. Cool in an anti-cool way, the same I strive for 🙂 x
