Made a video. A video of digressions. From a fear of spiders and flying, to visits to childhood swimming pools and the place where Jesus was born. There’s also talk about unrequited love, being rubbish with women, and my lacklustre beard and the subsequent rage it’s instilled in me.
I sniff a new book as well.

Wonderful observations on life!
Thank you, my friend. Glad you enjoyed them.
Entertaining, your digression and randomness I find entertaining, where others may get frustrated I find it endearing. ‘Stroke a cat. At the end a bit confusing.
It’s a pleasure learning more about you. As a ginger I can relate.being taunted with “I’d rather be dead than red on the head”, I also killed a giant spider with a can of cooking spray. I have finished “Journal” # 2 and wish to congratulate you on a very fine book…I found it addictively good. I hope you are working on #3. x
I’m delighted to hear you enjoyed it, Holly. Thank you ever so much! And that coming from a fellow ginger is even better 🙂
I have no sympathy for that spider, though. He should have just stayed outside.
And yes, #3 is in the pipeline! xx
Yay! I’m delighted to hear that. x
Loved this. Digression is a wonderful thing.
Your story about the boy who pooped himself at the swimming pool reminded me of the time I peed my pants in a paddle boat on a pond in a local park. I think I was there with the Brownies or maybe a school trip, but I must’ve been about 7 or 8? The girl in the boat with me was angry because I hadn’t gone to the little girl’s room beforehand. I knew that I’d wet myself if I paddled too hard, so she took advantage of that and paddled further out by herself. I couldn’t hold it in…
Her name was Morag (still is, oddly enough) and we’re still friends on Facebook.
Nice ❤ ❤ ❤
Thank you x
I totally understand the flying fear. Me too, man. I just don’t see how a big hunk of metal can move through the air. It’s not natural and therefore apt to fall at any time, I’m sure of it. Oh the fucking stories I could tell. Ugh. As for spiders in the States, well I live in Alaska and that’s one good thing, we don’t really have much for spiders. So maybe visit us?? I enjoyed this video… thanks for sharing.
Ever since I watched Arachnophobia as a kid, I became convinced that America was the spider capital of the world 🙂
Glad you enjoyed watching!
But…. you know it’s just a movie, right??! Hahaha! But who knows, maybe it’s really like that in the Lower 48 States. We are far more sensible in Alaska than to allow spiders to take over! LOL
I think I was young enough for the damage to be done! But I shall make Alaska my destination of choice, so thanks for the heads up! 🙂
Hahahaha! Good man! Except…. mostly you’d have to fly here, soooo…. yeah…
One problem at a time… 😉
