Made another video where this time I discuss the imagery used in two of my latest pieces, as well as my work in general. There’s also talk about sex and love, and how I approach the two issues within my writing. These videos are enjoyable to make. They’re kinda therapeutic and help me understand my writing process better. Hopefully, there’s a few out there who enjoy them, too, as I’ve always been interested in understanding the creative backgrounds of artists, both successful and unknown alike.

Reblogged this on A Forum for Divergent Literature.
Thank you!
because i see one of the SD people reblogged this, i was reminded of what you said in your other video about how to pronounce denouement… i guess i am way off. i pronounce it de-now-mint.
-hurriedly googles ‘how to pronounce denouement’-
WE ARE ALL WRONG.
DAY-NEW-MA
You know, it never even occurred to me to check Google or Wikipedia for the correct pronunciation…
Says it all, really.
also, i like the videos. you do well with them. i relate to a lot of it, obviously, but i can’t talk on a camera. it breaks.
Thank you, Sam. I’m not sure I could do it in the presence of others, not like how Jasper did when he was giving his poetry recital. That takes something which I don’t have.
I think you should have some of your pumpkin ale and give it a go 😉
that’s not a bad idea, though i’m afraid with me it’ll become some kind of comedy skit. i’m kind of a clown/weirdo. hmmmm.
You know I often have to keep from making noises and singing. All of my annoying mannerisms are just itching to burst out.
I’m basically a big annoying mannerism, but…. I’m tempted now to think of something to make.
I definitely think you should. It would be nice to find out more about your creative process and what makes you tick in that way. Annoying mannerisms and all.
Vampira said it best.
“Screaming relaxes me so.”
This should so be your opening music. Make it so!
🙂
Nice!!!!
Thank you! 🙂
Aw . . . I was awaiting eagerly your first Mills & Boon. No, arseing about aside, I found so much of this rang out with me. Very keenly observed, a great service to fellow creatives. And, might I add, as another former ‘ naughty boy ‘ I’d love to meet you some day – oh the stories we could swap – oh shit, that means I gotta knuckle down and write a book about it, damm! Thank you!
No such luck, I’m afraid 😉
Thank you for your kind words! I’m so pleased you took something from it. That’s what I was trying, so that’s something.
I’m glad to hear you were just like me. You write that book and hold nothing back! The world deserves to hear about your mischevious childhood!
Day-new-ma(w)nt – its French.
I’m going to look it up on Wikipedia. Should have done it months ago!
