This is the follow-up video to my introductory piece from yesterday. It sheds some more light on my writing background and motivations and is a little more focused. Well, sort of. I’ll probably do another one when I get the proof copy for the second volume of Damned Lovers in a few weeks time. I’ll be hairier and more dishevelled by then as well.
Also, forgive the cheesy grin. It was the best picture to choose from out of the three YouTube provided. Had my eyes closed in the other two.

I was, I assure you niether bored nor on the toilet. Cannot get a connection on the loo anyway lol. 👧😊
Haha! I’m very glad to hear it 🙂
I also cannot believe that I have not really documented my life until now, not properly. I wrote a ‘sometimes-when-I-could-be-arsed’ diary when I was a teenager, but it was nearly always motivated by angst.
Writing IS magic. I wouldn’t change it for the world either. I’m hooked. x
I was the same with those types of diaries. It’s strange though, isn’t it, when you look back and realise how much you’ve forgotten about, and how much you’ve changed without realising. To reflect and capture is such a beautiful and meaningful act, because if its not done, then it will all be lost and it’ll be as if it never happened at all x
I’ve just spent a week with my mum, who has written in a diary…every single day since she could write, probably. We spoke a lot about that on our holiday and she got really animated when she spoke about her own writing. I’m so thrilled to be able to share it with her. Your ears may have been burning as I told her about how much I enjoyed your work and how it inspires me. x
That’s so nice to hear that she’s kept a diary for so long! How wonderful 🙂
And it’s so good that the two of you could talk so openly and freely about it.
I’m touched you mentioned me, as well! If I can help to inspire you in any way, then it means I’m doing something right 🙂 x
Your intro – “I literally expect no one to watch this video”. So funny! Great to see a different side of you on this post (video) !
Thank you! I think that if I aim low, I’ll never be disappointed 😉
Glad you enjoyed it, though x

I enjoyed watching these videos. S.K. is inspiring force with a fierce command over the written word. We are honored by his presence in SD.
Thank you ever so much. I hope my ramblings will perhaps be of use to someone.
